Displays a graphical gauge showing current (1s (instant)/3s/10s/30s average) heart rate. HR zones are displayed, highlighting the current zone. A separate gauge registers the maximum HR registered during the activity. A graph is displayed in the background showing the HR graph, color coded by zones for the last ninety seconds (based on the selected average value) .

The data field supports the following settings:

- The maximum value of the HR scale display (150-300 bpm)

- The minimum value of the HR scale display (0-100 bpm)

- Averaging period for the displayed HR value (1s/3s/10s/30s)

- Selection of an additional data item to display (Laptime / % of max HR / Current Cadence / Current Speed )

- Device zone data set to use (Generic, Biking, Running, Swimming).  Default is Biking.

By configuring the minimum and maximum display scale values you can zoom in on the most relevant zones for your training.

The data field can be displayed on screens with a 1 field layout on the EDGE 520/820. Layouts with 1 or 2 fields are supported on the EDGE 1000/1030. For layouts with more fields, only the HR and current zone are displayed.
