Flip the lights, switches and outlets in your house straight from your watch — without pulling your phone out of your pocket.

FROM THE WATCH
• Turn lights, switches and outlets on and off
• Hold to dim anything dimmable, right from the wrist
• Switch a whole group at once — a room, a floor, the whole house
• See at a glance what is still on before you leave or go to bed
• A glance shows your devices without opening the app

HOW IT WORKS
This watch app pairs with the Watch Home Remote companion app on your phone. The phone does the work in the background: it runs its own Matter controller on your home network, so a press on your wrist reaches the light even while the phone is locked and sitting in your bag. No cloud relay is involved in switching a device — the command goes from the watch to the phone over Bluetooth, then straight to the device over your Wi-Fi.

WORKS WITH YOUR EXISTING SETUP
Your devices stay paired to your existing smart home app exactly as they are. The companion app adds a second, independent connection just for the watch — your automations, voice assistants and widgets keep working untouched. Nothing has to be reset or re-added.

WHAT YOU NEED
• The Watch Home Remote companion app on your phone
• The Garmin Connect app paired to your phone
• Matter-certified lights, switches or outlets on your Wi-Fi
• For Thread devices only: a Thread border router on your network (many smart speakers and TV boxes include one)
