Name: Terminal Watch Face - Retro Hacker Console
Rating: 5 (1 reviews)
Author: MarioZ

The time up top, big. Underneath, your day printed line by line, the way a terminal would print it:

  $ DATE     TUE 08 SEP
  $ STEPS    8432
  $ HEART    68
  $ BODY     71%
  $ BATT     50%

And a cursor blinking at the end of it.

Four colours: phosphor green, amber, cyan and white. Every line can be switched off, and the lines your watch cannot provide are skipped rather than shown as a dash - a console full of holes looks broken.

- The time large enough to read at a glance, then as much data as you want
- Four terminal palettes
- Every line optional
- Up to three extra lines you choose: calories, distance, floors, intensity minutes, altitude, temperature, sunrise/sunset, stress, Pulse Ox, recovery time, respiration or system status (unread messages, alarm, do not disturb, phone disconnected)
- Optional seconds next to the time
- Your own last line: type up to 24 characters and the face prints those instead of the greeting
- Text size: the lines size themselves to your screen, and you can push them a step larger or smaller
- Battery as a percentage, as the days left the watch estimates, or both
- Date format: TUE 08 SEP, TUE 08/09, TUE 09/08, 2026-09-08, 08/09/2026, 09/08/2026 or 09/08/26
- Blinking cursor, which you can turn off
- Adapts to round and rectangular screens: on a round watch the lines are laid out to the real width of the glass at each height
- Always-on display: just the dimmed time in your colour, so nothing burns into an AMOLED panel
- Asks for four permissions: Background and Communications, which the payment library needs to check your licence; Sensor History, which is where the watch keeps your heart rate and Body Battery; and Complications, which lets the extra lines read data like altitude or sunrise from the watch itself. Nothing about you leaves the watch
- English and Spanish

You change all of this in the Connect IQ app on your phone: open this watch face and tap Settings. Updates sometimes add new options, so it is worth a look after one.

Free for 2 days, then a one-time purchase of $1.99. No subscription, no ads, nothing collected about you.

When the trial ends the watch shows a code; you enter it at kzl.io/code to unlock the face permanently. Payment is handled by KiezelPay, not by this app - it never sees your card details, and refunds go through them.

Common questions

"A code appeared on my watch and I don't want to buy it." Switch to another watch face. Nothing is charged and nothing is kept.

"I paid but the code is still there." Your watch has to sync with your phone first. Open Garmin Connect and give it a minute.

"Who is KiezelPay?" The company that handles the payment, at kzl.io. This app never sees your card details, and refunds are requested through them.

Questions or problems: write to me and tell me your watch model.

There are a few other paid faces of mine in the store as well - a hand-drawn bear that reacts to your day, a countdown to your next race, and the real sky above you right now. All free for 2 days first.

Disponible en español.

More watch faces I made:
- Week Pro: one face, six metrics, your goal, your colors.
- Glass Cards: your stats on glass cards.
- One Line: the time, twice as big, and nothing else.

If this face stays on your wrist, a review helps more than it looks. Most of mine have one review or none, and that is what anyone deciding sees.

How paying works: 2-day free trial, then $1.99 once, through KiezelPay. No subscription. Card payments add KiezelPay's $0.30 processing fee; paying with PayPal does not.

Want more than one? All 16 of my watch faces are $4.99 together, paid once: choose the bundle when you enter your code.

Terminal Watch Face - Retro Hacker Console

  $ FECHA    MAR 08 SEP
  $ PASOS    8432
  $ PULSO    68
  $ BODY     71%
  $ BAT      50%

Preguntas frecuentes

«Me salió un código y no quiero comprar.» Cambia a otra esfera.

Available in English.

Otras esferas que he hecho:
