Name: Flutterfly (Goal Based Virtual Pet Butterfly)
Author: BunsAndZeros

TRANSFORM YOUR DAY. GROW A FOREST. STAY MOTIVATED.

Flutterfly is a colourful Garmin watch face that turns your daily fitness progress into a butterfly lifecycle. As you work toward your selected goals, your watch face transforms from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis before opening into a vivid butterfly.

If all selected goals are currently met, Flutterfly shows a brighter celebration butterfly. If you fall behind, the butterfly becomes tired or dormant until the next day gives you a fresh start.

For every purchase of Flutterfly, we plant a real tree on your behalf.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How are activity minutes calculated?
A: The app uses your weekly activity minutes goal from Garmin Connect and divides it by 7 for a daily target. If you're behind for the week, the target increases to help you catch up.

~

Q: How do the goal progress marks work?
A: They show your configured goals visually:
 • 1 goal: tick marks form a single arc
 • 2 goals: first goal left arc, second right
 • 3 goals: first goal left arc, second right, and third on the bottom

~

Q: How does the butterfly transform?
A: Flutterfly uses your selected goals to decide the lifecycle stage. If you choose more than one growth goal, the lowest-progress goal controls the stage.

~

Q: Why does it not become a full butterfly immediately when I hit a goal early?
A: The watch face uses time-of-day pacing. This keeps the transformation steady and makes the butterfly feel like a day-long companion rather than a one-off badge.

~

Q: What happens if I miss my goals?
A: The butterfly becomes tired or dormant. The missed-goal state stays until the next daily reset, when a fresh egg begins the day.

~

Q: What happens when all my selected goals are met?
A: Flutterfly shows the brighter celebration butterfly.

~

Q: What can the ring indicator show?
A: Choose from Stress, Body Battery, Recovery Time, or Time-only. It changes colour to indicate value levels:
 • Stress: changes at 50%, 70%, 90%
 • Body Battery: changes at 50%, 30%, 10%
 • Recovery Time: changes as time drops from 1 day to 1 hour to 1 minute

~

Q: Does a tree really get planted?
A: Yes. For every purchase of Flutterfly, we plant a real tree on your behalf.
