Name: Fit Score data field

Based on the running Fit Score calculations, this data field shows your Fit Score for the current mile that you have completed.  It does not round up, and only uses whole miles in the equation (i.e. you've ran 1.6 miles @ 8:00 pace, it will calculate based on 1.00 mile at that pace).  The formula used is an advancement of the Fit Score formula that has been used by professional runners for a long time, but modified by a good friend of mine to reflect reality for "normal" people.  A really good score is anything above a 50. 

The data field only updates as each mile rolls over and the data is not currently retained in the .fit file.
