Three 24 hour graphs, a large moon phase and selectable data fields.

THREE GRAPHS

• Sun: solar path, daylight and darkness.
• Moon: local lunar path, moonrise and moonset, plus a position marker with moon phase.
• Tides: locally calibrated high and low tide cycle with adjusted ebb and flood phases.

Choose a calendar day or a rolling window from 3 hours back to 21 hours ahead, with your current position shown on the curve.

EIGHT EVENT PAIRS

Sunrise and sunset, civil, nautical and astronomical twilight, start of golden and blue hour, moonrise and moonset, high and low tide.

Configure event lines, symbols, time display and countdown. “Automatic” selects the next available event from the enabled groups. The time display and countdown can independently show a fixed event group, lunar illumination in percent or nothing. A “+” marks an event on a later calendar day.

Supported models offer separate profiles for Sun, Moon and Tides, colored markers, highlighting of the next event and filters for only the next event or only future events.

YOUR DATA FIELDS

Two freely configurable main fields, with the countdown position available as an extra field:

• Battery percentage or estimated days remaining
• Heart rate and steps
• Weather with temperature, high and low values or chance of rain
• Elevation and air pressure with trend
• Large textured moon phase
• Seconds in active mode
• Solar intensity on compatible solar models

YOUR LOOK

Supported color models offer six themes assignable per graph, solid fill or gradient, dotted or solid guide lines, event color palettes and symbol styles. Choose Departure Mono or Terminus and optionally an extra large time display.

Small moon icons offer selectable surface, orientation, tint and four night side styles. The large moon phase has its own texture and fixed orientation. Optional Bluetooth indicator, 12 or 24 hour time, localized weekday and device dependent date formats. Temperature and elevation units follow the watch settings.

TIDES PRO CALIBRATION

Calibrate using high tide and the following low tide from the same coastal location, including date and local time. Use a valid Garmin position or manual coordinates. The location remains stored while traveling.

The cycle follows variable lunar meridian passages. Standard places low tide halfway between two high tides. Pro uses your low tide to adjust local ebb and flood duration.

In the Boston comparison with NOAA predictions from January 1 to March 1, 2025, the mean absolute timing error decreased compared with Standard:

• Low tide: about 17.6 % from 14.99 to 12.35 minutes
• All events: about 8.7 % from 15.24 to 13.92 minutes

Comparison with predictions is not a worldwide accuracy guarantee.

LOCAL CALCULATION

Local Sun, Moon and tide calculations without continuous GPS, an API key or an internet connection. Active, power saving and always on modes depend on the device.

9 LANGUAGES

German, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese, where supported by your watch.

NOTES

Features vary by model and limited models share one event profile. Sun and Moon features require a valid location and correct time zone. Update the GPS position after traveling.

Tides require calibration and do not provide water levels or current data. Mixed or mainly diurnal tides may be represented poorly. For recreational use only. Use official local tide information for navigation and safety.
