Prestage Watchface: Practical Shooting

Most days aren’t match days.

Prestage Watchface is an everyday Garmin watchface with Daily, Practice and Match modes, designed for practical-shooting practitioners.

Daily mode

Daily mode includes 31 short messages inspired by ideas that matter in practical shooting and also make sense away from the range.

For example:

“Let one action  
set up the next.”

A different message appears each day. Daily messages work without the Prestage app and can be turned off completely.

Practice and Match

With the separately purchased Prestage app connected on a supported watch, Practice mode offers three choices: show your selected practice focus, show your Practice ready words, or hide both.

Match mode keeps the familiar layout and can display your Match ready words or saved match progress. This is progress recorded in Prestage, not live scoring information.

Change modes manually or choose to have the watchface follow the app’s recently saved mode.

Choose up to four data fields: temperature, feels-like temperature, next-hour precipitation chance, wind, steps, recent heart rate, sunset or battery. Fields can also be hidden.

On compact Instinct displays, the four selections rotate in pairs, with two shown at a time.

Clean view keeps time and date, with an optional battery or steps field. Daily messages and preparation cues are hidden.

On supported AMOLED watches, with always-on enabled in the watch settings, the always-on view shows time and an optional date.

The orange seconds ring progresses while the display is awake. Compatible MIP watches can also update it in low-power mode within Garmin’s power limits. Monochrome watches use a monochrome version of the design.

Optional connection to the Prestage app

Prestage Watchface works independently for time, daily messages and your chosen data.

Install both products on the same supported watch to display practice focus, ready words and saved match progress from Prestage. Choose and edit this information in the app; choose what appears in the watchface’s settings.

Ready words are hidden by default. You can turn the app connection off completely.

Open and leave the Prestage app once with watchface sharing enabled to make its saved information available.

On supported touch watches, hold the centre to read the meaning of a displayed focus or ready word. Hold PRESTAGE to open the companion app.

The connection requires Garmin complications support. Watches without this support can still run both products separately.

Weather comes from Garmin

Weather is supplied through Garmin and may require phone pairing, synchronisation, internet access and phone location permissions. Sunset is calculated using the location supplied with Garmin’s weather data, which may differ from your current location.

Unavailable values appear as dashes. The larger detailed layout also shows weather age or an unavailable/stale indicator.

No separate account or subscription.

Core watchface features work without an internet connection. Fresh weather depends on Garmin’s services.

The watchface contains no advertising, analytics or developer cloud service. It reads watch data locally and does not send your heart rate, steps or weather location to the developer or Haptic Pulse.

Prestage Watchface is independently developed by Haptic Pulse for practical-shooting practitioners. It is not affiliated with a shooting federation and does not connect to commercial scoring services.
