This app is the "Lite" companion to "Sailing Watch Pro — tactics, waypoints & forecasts" (https://apps.garmin.com/apps/a3c7fc71-ca19-4b77-a307-ee814159f6e4)

Lite version Features:
- Race timer — countdown sequence with sync-down-to-the-minute and +1 minute adjustment to match the race committee's signals.
- Start line ping — mark the committee boat and pin ends and see your live distance to the line.
- GPS track & stats — every race is recorded and viewable (path plus speed/distance stats) in the Garmin Connect app.

Sailing Watch Pro additional features:
Upwind tactics — real-time header/lift calls and layline notifications.
Weather — current conditions plus an hourly wind/temperature forecast.
Waypoints — 20 preset waypoints (entered by coordinates in Garmin Connect) or ping your current position on the watch.
Live tracking — speed-colored live GPS path with laylines shown during the race.
Race overview — on-watch stats: top speed, tack count, VMG, distance and more.
