Name: Triathlete – Recovery Traffic Light
Author: RafaelMontilla

Triathlete is a watch face that tells you every morning whether you are ready to train hard: a green, yellow or red traffic light built from how you slept and recovered last night.

FREE 24-HOUR TRIAL. After the trial, the watch shows a 6-digit code: go to kzl.io/code, enter it and unlock Triathlete for US$1 (one-time payment through KiezelPay with card, PayPal or Apple Pay). Already bought it? Entering the code unlocks it again at no cost.

The traffic light uses four values from last night:
- Night stress: your average stress while you slept. Garmin calculates stress from your heart rate variability (HRV), so low night stress means good HRV.
- Resting heart rate: the lowest 30-minute average of your heart rate during the night.
- Body Battery: the ring shows your charge right now, and below it you see what you went to bed with and what you woke up with (for example, from 34 to 82).
- Sleep score: Garmin's 0-100 sleep score.

Each value gets its own colored ring segment, and the minutes and the center label show the overall result: READY, EASY DAY or REST DAY. Night stress and resting heart rate count double.

- Automatic mode: for the first 3 nights it uses standard values; after that it compares each night with your own 7-day average, so it adapts to you.
- Fixed mode: set your own green and red limits for each value.
- Large, easy-to-read time. Live heart rate, battery and date.
- Low-power always-on mode designed for AMOLED screens.
- Supports 12/24 h, English and Spanish.

Settings (in the Connect IQ app): automatic or fixed thresholds, the limits for each value, the color of the minutes and showing the live heart rate.

Notes:
- Garmin does not let third-party watch faces read the HRV value itself; night stress is the closest value available.
- Resting heart rate is calculated on the watch from your overnight heart rate and can differ by 1-2 bpm from the value in Garmin Connect.
- Sleep score only appears on watches that share it with apps (recent models). On other watches that corner shows "--" and the traffic light uses the other three values.
- Values need the watch face to be on your watch overnight. The first morning after installing it may show partial data.
- This watch face is not medical advice.
- To check the license, the watch needs a connection to the Garmin Connect app on your phone. It sends only an anonymous device identifier and the watch model to KiezelPay. No health or activity data leaves the watch.

Triathlete – Recovery Traffic Light
