Note for Fenix 5, 5X and FR935 user: all YARF functions can be tested for 5 minutes per activity. After 5 minutes a pin is necessary and functions are deactivated.

The Yet Another Fields are a series of datafields which are dedicated to a certain kind of run. E. g. the Yet Another Competition Field (YACF: https://goo.gl/4tLgeb) is designed for competitions and fast runs whereas Yet Another Interval Field 2 (YAIF2: https://goo.gl/qJGFY0) is made specifically for interval training. This datafield - Yet Another Running Field (YARF) - is optimized for slow and medium fast runs.

YARF shows currently 18 different information fields (23 for F5/F5X and FR935). My vision was to show as much information on one screen so that there is no need to toggle through pages. The information which is from my point of view relevant to the running workout is printed in large readable characters. The colors of the labels and some information are configurable so that the runner is not distracted from all the information. It can be configured in garmin express or from your connected mobile phone (called from now on YARF settings).

The outer pace fields' string sizes are larger. The user can select in the YARF settings whether the average or the lap pace as well as the 10 second pace and the 60 second pace show enlarged. 

The datafield brings back an alarm setting for cadence which was omitted from Garmin at least for the Forerunner 235. Furthermore it is more flexible than Garmins implementation since the time between two alarms can be configured in the YARF settings.

YARF shows:
 1. Average Cadence
 2. Current Cadence (which is shown in red letters if the cadence is below 180 or a configurable value. Furthermore YARF indicates low cadence values with vibration and a beep. Both are deactivatable by setting the time between two alarms to 0 in the settings)
 3. Elapsed Time
 4. Elapsed Distance (shown in miles or in km depending on the system's setting)
 5. Average Pace
 6. Lap Pace
 7. 60 second Pace
 8. 10 second Pace (gets red if current pace is 3 seconds in a row slower and green if faster, i. e. the tendency is shown)
 9. Calories burned during activity (the label "kC" will vanish if the calories are beyond 999) 
 10. Time of Date (minutes can be configured in a color of your choice)
 11. Current Lap Time
 12. Previous Lap Time
 13. Battery level (gets orange if level is below 40 and red if the level falls down to 15). Bar view on round watches, digit view on semi round watches: the size of the battery level can be enlarged via the YARF settings.

 16. At a new lap the HR label is replaced with the average HR of the last lap

Yet another run field

Hinweis für Fenix 5, 5X und FR935-Nutzer: Alle YARF-Funktionen sind für 5 Minuten pro Aktivität für alle Nutzer freigeschaltet (auch ohne Pin). Nach 5 Minuten ist eine Pin nötig.

Die Yet Another Fields sind eine Serie von Datenfeldern und für unterschiedliche Typen von Läufen gemacht. Z. B. ist das Yet Another Competition Field (YACF: https://goo.gl/4tLgeb) gemacht für Wettkämpfe und schnelle Läufe, wohingegen das Yet Another Interval Field 2 (YAIF2: https://goo.gl/qJGFY0) speziell für Intervall-Training konzipiert wurde. YARF (Yet Another Run Field) ist für  langsame und mittelschnelle Läufe gemacht.

YARF zeigt momentan 18 unterschiedliche Informationen an (24 für Fenix 5/5X und FR935). Die Vision war es, so viel wir möglich auf einer Seite anzuzeigen, so dass Seitenwechsel nicht mehr nötig sind. Die Informationen, die m. E. wichtig sind für einen Lauf, sind grösser gezeichnet. Damit sich der Läufer auf bestimmte Werte fokussieren kann, sind einige Farben einstellbar in Garmin Express bzw. in Garmin Connect Mobile (im folgenden genannt YARF-Einstellungen). 

Die beiden äusseren Pace Felder sind von der Schriftgrösse her etwas grösser, die Inneren kleiner. In den YARF-Einstellungen kann gewählt werden, welches Pace Feld grösser sein soll. 

Das Datenfeld bringt sogar ein Feature, das Garmin auf der Forerunner 235 nicht nativ unterstützt: Einen Schrittfrequenz-Alarm, der auch in den YARF-Einstellungen konfiguriert werden kann.

YARF zeigt: 
 1. Durchschnittsschrittfrequenz
 2. Momentane Schrittfrequenz  (wird in roten Zahlen dargestellt beim Alarm. Es gibt auch eine kurze Vibration und einen Ton. Zum Abschalten des Features "Time between two alarms" in den YARF-Einstellungen auf 0 setzen)
 3. Zeit im Workout
 4. Gelaufene Distanz (angezeigt in Meilen oder in km abh. von den Systemeinstellungen der Uhr)
 5. Average Pace
 6. Lap Pace
 7. 60 Sekunden Pace
 8. 10 Seknden Pace (wird in rot angezeigt, wenn Läufer langsamer wird, grün, wenn schneller)
 9. Verbrauchte Kalorien (der Label "kC" verschwindet bei Kalorien über 999) 
 10. Uhrzeit (Minutenfarbe kann eingestellt werden)
 11. Momentane Runden-Zeit
 12. Letzte Runden-Zeit
 13. Batteriestand (wird orange unter 40 and rot unter 15). Runde Uhren: Balkenanzeige, Semirunde Uhren: Batteriestand, der auch vergrössert dargestellt werden durch eine YARF-Einstellung)
 14. Durchschnitts-Herzfrequenz

 16. Nach einer neuen Runde wird die Durchschnitts-Herzfrequenz der letzten Runde angezeigt anstatt "HR"

Hinweise:
 - Die YARF-Einstellungen sind nur auf Englisch verfügbar - deutsche Sprache würde die 16 kB-Grenze für ein Datenfeld sprengen.
 - Die Pace-Felder zeigen "---" wenn die Pace kleiner als 9:59 ist.

- Pokud se při zahájení aktivity zobrazí obrazovka IQ vraťte se na hodiny a začněte znovu. Před návratem do aplikace běhu chvíli vyčkejte
 
 
Yet Another Pole jsou datová pole určená pro specifický běh. Yet Another Race Field (YACF: https://goo.gl/4tLgeb) je pole určené pro závody a tempové běhy, zatímco Yet Anothe Interval Filed 2 (YAIF2: https://goo.gl/qJGFY0~~HEAD=pobj) je určené speciálně pro intervalový trénink. Toto datové pole - Yet Another Running Field (YARF) - je optimalizováno pro pomalé a středně rychlé běhy.
 
YARF v současné podobě zobrazuje 18 různých polí. Mou vizí bylo ukázat co nejvíce informací na jedné obrazovce tak, aby nebylo potřeba přepínat mezi obrazovkami při aktivitě. Informace, které jsou z mého pohledu pro běžce nejdůležitější, používají velký textový font. Barvy popisků a některá zobrazovaná data jsou konfigurovatelné. Ke konfiguraci pole prosím použijte Garmin Express na svém PC, nebo Garmin Mobile na svém mobilním zařízení.
 
Vnější data tempa (třetí řádek) jsou provedeny velkým fontem, vnitřní potom menším fontem. V konfiguraci pole lze volit, jaký druh tempa bude v jednotlivých pozicích zobrazen (průměr, průměr za kolo, průměr za 10 a průměr za 60 sekund.
 
YARF přináší zpět také funkci alarmu na kadenci, která (alespoň u Forerunner 235) nebyla implementována. Dále je možné, na rozdíl od implementace Garminu, konfigurovat dobu mezi dvěma alarmy.
 
YARF zobrazuje tyto údaje:
 
1. Průměrná kadence
 
2. Aktuální kadence (zobrazuná červeně, pokud je kadence nižší, než 180 kr/min, nebo nastavená hodnota v konfiguraci. Kromě toho YARF indikuje nízké hodnoty kadence vibracemi a pípnutím. Oba tyto způsoby jsou vypínatelné nastavením času mezi dvěma alarmy na 0)
 
3. Uplynulý čas tréninku
 
4. Uběhnutá vzdálenost (zobrazeno v mílích nebo v kilometrech v závislosti na nastavení hodinek)
 
5. Průměrné tempo
 
6. Tempo okruhu
 
7. Tempo za posledních 60 sekund
 
8. Tempo za posledních 10 sekund (zobrazeno červeně, pokud je hodnota 3 sekundy v řadě vyšší a naopak zobrazeno zeleně, pokud je nižší, tj. jedná se o zobrazení tendence tempa)
 
9. Spálené kalorie (popisek "kC" zmizí v případě, že hodnota je větší než 999)
 
10. Čas (minuty lze nakonfigurovat v barvě dle vašeho výběru)
 
11. Čas aktuálního kola
 
12. Čas posledního kola
 
13. Stav baterie (oranžová, jeho pod 40%, červená, je-li pod 15%). Zobrazeno sloupcem v případě hodinek s kulatým displejem, resp. číslicemi v případě oválných hodinek. Lze zvětšit pomocí konfigurace pole.

16. V případě nového kola je popisek HBR nahrazen hodnotou průměrné tepové frekvence posledního kola.
