Name: Ayiti — Haiti on your wrist
Author: Milotche

Wear Haiti on your wrist. The whole face is the Haitian flag — blue over red, with the white panel and the coat of arms at its heart — and twelve hour markers inspired by the cut-metal art of Croix-des-Bouquets that turn gold as the hours go by.

• Your time and Port-au-Prince time, side by side
• Live weather in your home city in Haiti (14 cities), next to the temperature where you are
• Gourde rates: 1 CAD, 1 USD and 1 EUR in gourdes, in turn
• News from Haiti: a counter shows how many headlines came out in the last 3 hours
• Hurricane alert: when a storm comes within 800 km of Haiti, its name, category and distance appear
• National holidays and memorial days (Independence, Flag Day, Vertières, Carnival…)
• Battery, heart rate, Wi-Fi/Internet and Bluetooth; each corner is configurable (steps, calories, floors…)
• Three themes: Flag, Naive art (bright colours on black), Always night
• Night mode after sunset in Haiti: deep blue, deep red and stars
• French, Haitian Creole and English; °C or °F
• Battery-friendly: data refreshed every 30 minutes, dark always-on screen

PAYMENT: free 7-day trial, then a one-time 2.99 USD license key from https://milotche.com/ayiti (paste it into the app settings, "License key"). No subscription. After the trial without a key, the face keeps the time and the flag; the Haiti data stops.

Data comes from Open-Meteo, open.er-api.com, the US National Hurricane Center and Haitian news sites (Le Quotidien 509, Juno7, Rezo Nòdwès, Haïti Liberté). Requires the Garmin Connect app on your phone for updates.

Ayiti — Haiti on your wrist
