Hoolan is a completely FREE app for in-depth tracking and analysis of your wind and watersports sessions: kitesurfing, wingfoiling, windsurfing, snowkiting, landboarding and landbuggying. 

Track both your jump and GPS data on your Garmin, boost the stoke on the water with real-time stats as you ride, and dive into tailored performance metrics on Hoolan’s Apple and Android phone apps, that will keep you motivated and pushing to improve!

TRACK JUMPS & GPS
Depending on your watch model, Hoolan will track your jump data as well as your GPS speed and distance data: https://www.hoolan.app/garmin/garmin-compatibility


REAL-TIME STATISTICS
Accurate jump and GPS statistics on your watch: max jump height, last jump height, max speed, current speed, heart rate, distance, local time and elapsed time.


CONFIGURABLE WATCH SCREEN
Choose the stats that are important to you and where on the screen you'd like to see them. 


SUPER QUICK DATA TRANSFER
Once in bluetooth range, the data recorded on your watch syncs quickly to your phone where you can dive into your performance stats on either our Apple or Android apps.

ADVANCED PERFORMANCE STATISTICS
See your ‘best in sessions’ and ‘personal bests’:

Jumps - height, airtime, airspeed, takeoff speed, tack & totals.

Runs - distance, upwind gain, downwind gain, max speed, max speed over 100m, max speed over 500m, tack and stops.

Transitions - success rate, avg speed, max speed, entry & exit speed, transition time, tack and stops.


IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS
Go deeper into your stats and analyse the data for every run, transition and jump.


JUMP DETECTION & ALERTS
Choose which activities you’d like to record jumps for, and save battery if you’re not jumping. If you’re boosting big, choose to only be alerted when you’ve jumped over a certain height threshold.


QUICK START
Once you have recorded a watersports session on Hoolan, your most recent activity types will be saved for you to quickly reuse when you next record a session.


PRE AND POST SESSION
Hoolan detects when you’re properly riding, and everything before and after is put into pre or post session data and won’t count towards your stats. This means you can start recording as you’re setting up, which gives the GPS time to warm up and get your accurate location, as well as giving you time to calibrate your watch if you’re jumping.


ACCURACY
We use doppler speed accuracy to calculate our speed and distance data, and our jump algorithm has been rigorously tested by our dedicated team of testers.


BATTERY
If the battery on your watch runs out, all your data up until that point will be saved.


WATCH NOT COMPATIBLE?
If your watch isn’t compatible with our app, you can still record using the Garmin native activities on your watch and access your tailored wingfoiling/ kitesurfing/ windsurfing stats on our Hoolan phone app by connecting your Garmin and Hoolan accounts. https://www.hoolan.app/garmin-integration
