Xeric Retroscope Trial turns your watch into a photo-real retro pixel gadget: a NEW MESSAGE card above a chunky segmented-LCD clock, with crisp pixel typography and a warm photographic background.

Try all 60 rotating motivational messages, custom text up to 48 characters, the typewriter reveal, 12-hour or 24-hour time, all five color themes, and all 11 message languages.

Choose the Original, Neon, Green, Red, or Yellow theme. Every theme keeps the same glanceable layout while changing the card, LCD, chrome, time, and accent colors.

Trial behavior:
The Trial is fully functional for 24 elapsed hours from its first successful launch. After 24 hours it continues showing the time, date, heart rate, battery, elevation, and steps. The NEW MESSAGE card persistently shows TRIAL EXPIRED and GET FULL VERSION instead of the normal daily or custom message. The clock and live data are never locked, blanked, or obscured. Reinstalling or erasing local watch state may restart the offline Trial.

Controls and settings:
Open watch-face settings on the watch or use Garmin Connect to choose the message language, daily or custom message, time format, typewriter effect, and color theme. Custom text entry is available in Garmin Connect.

Requirements and data use:
No accounts, network connection, server contact, or permissions are required. Settings and Trial timing state remain local to the watch. Offline timing remembers the greatest trusted watch time while local state exists, but cannot guarantee enforcement after local state is erased.
