It is built to run on the Instinct series, the Forerunner 70 and higher models, and the entire Fenix series from the 5th generation onwards.
Functions

Normal Race Mode
Supports a classic 5-4-1-0 or 3-1-0 countdown. At 5, 4, and 1 minute, the watch will provide audible beeps and haptic feedback, while the final 10 seconds feature a countdown of beeps and haptic pulses. Once the timer reaches zero, the "Elapsed" timer will start until the user pauses or resets the sequence.

Extra Warnings: When enabled, this adds additional beeps at 1:30, 0:30, and 0:20.


Button Controls
+ Top Right (GPS):
- Start/Sync: If in the READY state, it starts the timer. If running, it syncs the timer to the next lowest minute (e.g., 4:10 becomes 4:00; 3:55 becomes 3:00). Once the ELAPSED timer has started, this resets the timer to the configured 5 or 3-minute start.

+ Bottom Right (Back):
- Short Press: Exit (only if not running).

+ Middle Left (Up):
- Hold: Opens the Menu interface for app settings.

+ Bottom Left (Down):
- Short Press: Pause.
- Hold: Reset timer (if the watch model supports it).

+ RC Mode (Race Committee Mode)
RC Mode is a specialized sequence designed for managing staggered race starts where a rolling start "Buffer" precedes the actual start sequence. When enabled, the UI displays an "RC" indicator, signaling that the timer is operating under race management rules rather than a standard single-countdown format.
- Buffer Transition: When the timer reaches zero, the app automatically triggers a state change into "NEXT SEQ" (Next Sequence) mode.
- Buffer Period: The timer automatically reloads with your pre-configured "RC Buffer" (1, 3, or 5 minutes). This interval acts as the pause between the Race Committee's preparatory signal and the next start sequence.
- Continuous Loop: Once the buffer countdown finishes, the system automatically transitions back to the main countdown timer. This creates a continuous, hands-free loop that keeps the Race Committee on schedule without requiring manual resets between start sequences.
