How does METAR work?
To conserve power, the Garmin device requests new data every five minutes. If you change the settings, please wait 5-10 minutes for all the data to update. GPS coordinates will not update automatically if you enable the "Auto" search for nearby airports feature. Consider using a "GPS Helper" app or running an app that uses GPS, such as "Running" or "Cycling".
