NIXIE TACTICAL GLOW
Cold-war cathode tubes, strapped to your wrist.

ALWAYS-ON, ULTRA-LOW POWER: in low-power mode the face lights only a few dim pixels on an otherwise black screen — off pixels cost an AMOLED display nothing, so the always-on view barely touches your battery, and the pattern shifts periodically to protect the panel from burn-in.

Real nixie tubes glowing behind scratched steel and circuit
board. Every numeral is photoreal cathode art, not a font —
the amber bloom is baked in, right down to the mesh anode
and the wire cage behind the digits. Three dials you set
yourself, a segmented battery gauge and a thermometer
channel between the tubes.

CONFIGURABLE
6 settings in Garmin Connect: open your watch, then Watch Face,
then Nixie Tactical Glow, then Settings. Three metric slots — left, right and the centre channel
— each pick from heart rate, steps, calories, distance,
floors, body battery or intensity minutes. Seconds tube
and goal rings toggle on or off.

Technical data only, used to keep this watch face working and to spot faults:
which face and version, your watch model and system version, the display
options you picked, how long the face was on screen, and how much memory and
drawing time the face needed. Nothing personal - no account, no device ID, no
location beyond country, no health data. Anonymous by design and handled in
line with EU data protection law (GDPR). Switch it off any time under
Settings, Share usage stats.
