Name: Golf Weather Lite – Wind & Playability
Author: Josedeveloper

Is it playable? Free, in your glance list. Golf Weather Lite is the free edition of Golf Weather. It appears in the watch's glance list; it is not built into Garmin's golf activity (Connect IQ does not allow adding to it).

Press up or down from any watch face — including Garmin's own — and in a second you see a traffic light that sums up whether the course is playable, and the wind with its arrow. If a storm is on its way in the next 3 hours, it says so. All with the weather your watch already gets from Garmin.

IN THE GLANCE
• A traffic light: green (playable), amber (caution), red (not advised or storm), grey at night. It weighs wind, rain and daylight, even though Lite only shows the wind
• Wind arrow pointing where the wind blows, with speed and direction
• "Storm" when Garmin's forecast has thunderstorms in the next 3 hours

WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT
• Free, with no account and no ads.
• Keep your favourite watch face: it works with any of them, Garmin's own included.
• Easy on your battery and your privacy: it doesn't go online, doesn't run in the background, doesn't turn on GPS, and no data leaves the watch.

WANT MORE? THE FULL VERSION, GOLF WEATHER
A one-time purchase that adds:
• Rain chance over the next 3 hours and daylight left, in the glance
• Four screens: hour-by-hour wind and rain, the last tee time for 18 and 9 holes, and today's ball carry
• A traffic light with your own wind and rain thresholds, your pace and your twilight margin
Golf Weather: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/5b073308-47ba-4188-bada-62d556890563

SETTINGS (from Garmin Connect)
• Wind unit: Automatic follows the watch
• Wind arrow: where the wind blows to (default) or where it comes from

NOTES AND LIMITS
• The traffic light uses fixed thresholds: wind amber from 20 km/h and red above 35; rain amber from 30 % and red above 60 %. You can change them in the full version.
• The weather is Garmin's, synced from your phone about once an hour. The app makes no network requests: without your phone nearby the data gets old, and the glance says "Updated N h ago".
• Wind gusts are not shown: Garmin's weather does not provide them.
• The arrow is relative to north (up = north), not to the direction you face.

Golf Weather Lite – Wind & Playability

Golf Weather: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/5b073308-47ba-4188-bada-62d556890563

Golf Weather Lite – Viento y jugabilidad

Ist der Platz bespielbar? Kostenlos, in Ihren Übersichten.

Golf Weather: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/5b073308-47ba-4188-bada-62d556890563

EINSTELLUNGEN (in Garmin Connect)

Golf Weather Lite – Wind & Bespielbarkeit

Golf Weather : https://apps.garmin.com/apps/5b073308-47ba-4188-bada-62d556890563

Golf Weather: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/5b073308-47ba-4188-bada-62d556890563

INSTELLINGEN (via Garmin Connect)

Golf Weather Lite – Wind & bespeelbaarheid

Czy da się grać? Za darmo, na liście widżetów. Golf Weather Lite to darmowa edycja Golf Weather.

• Strzałka wiatru wskazująca, dokąd wieje, z prędkością i kierunkiem

• Szansę deszczu w najbliższych 3 godzinach i pozostałe światło, w widżecie
Golf Weather: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/5b073308-47ba-4188-bada-62d556890563

USTAWIENIA (w Garmin Connect)
• Jednostki wiatru: Automatycznie – jak w zegarku
• Strzałka wiatru: dokąd wieje (domyślnie) lub skąd wieje

UWAGI I OGRANICZENIA
