Name: Weather Harbor (Trial) - Analog Weather Watch Face
Rating: 5 (1 reviews)
Author: AndreiLabs

Weather Harbor is analog weather watch face for AMOLED Garmin watches. The whole dial is an illustrated harbor town on a bay, with a lighthouse, boats and green hills. The weather is not shown with a small icon, the picture itself changes with it. Sun shines on the water, storm brings big waves, snow covers the roofs, fog hides the lighthouse, and at night the windows are lit and the stars come out. One look at your wrist tells you what the sky is doing.

This is the free trial listing. Install it, use the complete watch face for 7 days, and unlock it for 1.99 USD only if you want to keep it. Nothing is locked or watermarked during the trial.

31 ILLUSTRATED SCENES

- Clear sky moves the sun through 7 day scenes, from dawn to dusk, and the moon through 4 night scenes, from moonrise to moonset.
- Partly cloudy has 3 day scenes and 4 night scenes of its own.
- Cloudy, rain, storm, snow, fog and wind each have a day scene and a night scene.
- Every scene has its own colors for the hands and the text, so the time and the data stay readable on top of the art.

THE HARBOR MOVES

When you raise the wrist, small details of the scene move while the screen is on. On clear days the sun glints on the water and gulls fly over the bay. At night the stars twinkle, the moonlight shimmers on the water and the lighthouse lamp blinks. Rain falls and makes rings on the water, in a storm the lighthouse beam sweeps over the bay, snow falls on the town, fog drifts past, and wind puts whitecaps on the waves. In always-on mode the scene stops.

WEATHERVANE HANDS

The hour and minute hands are shaped like weathervane arrows. Tick marks around the dial and no numbers, so the picture stays the main thing.

5 DATA FIELDS, 32 METRICS

One big field at the bottom, over the water (temperature by default), two fields at the top near 12 o'clock and one on each side. Every field has a small label under the value, so you always know what the number is. Choose what each of the five slots shows: Date, Battery, Battery in days, Steps, Step goal percent, Heart rate, Body Battery, Calories, Active calories, Distance, Floors climbed, Intensity minutes, Pulse Ox, VO2 max, Training status, Recovery time, Temperature, Feels like, Humidity, Wind, Rain chance, Sunrise and sunset, Moonrise, Moonset, Notifications, Phone connection, UTC time, Weekly run distance, Weekly bike distance, Seconds, Altitude, Location. Set them in the Garmin Connect app, under the watch face settings.

BUILT FOR AMOLED

- Instant wake, the finished face is on screen in the first frame.
- Calm always-on mode: black screen, dim hands and ticks, and the value from slot 1. No picture there, to protect the panel.
- Weather and sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset times come from your watch, using your last known position. Sync your watch with the Garmin Connect app to keep the forecast fresh.

If a data field has nothing to show yet, it draws two dashes instead of a wrong number.

Instinct Crossover AMOLED has real hands of its own, so there the face draws the scene and the data fields, and the real hands show the time.

HOW THE TRIAL WORKS

The trial runs for 7 days. When it ends, the watch shows a 6 digit code. Open kzl.io/code on your phone or computer, enter that code and pay once. The watch face unlocks in about a minute, so keep the phone connected to internet for the first unlock. Payment is handled by KiezelPay, and the unlock stays with your watch.
