Monster Pacer turns your run into a head-to-head race against a virtual pacer running at your target pace. Watch the live gap between you and the pacer on a simple race track, and try to finish ahead before it catches you.

How it works

Set your target pace and target distance before you start
A virtual "monster" pacer runs the same distance at that exact pace
The race bar shows your position, the pacer's position, and the live gap in meters — updated in real time from GPS
Fall behind and the gap turns red with a warning vibration; catch up and it turns green again
Win by reaching the finish distance before the pacer does
Lose if the pacer finishes first while you're still behind
No stopping mid-race for a "caught" penalty — the race stays continuous until someone finishes
