Training Status language Notice
Training Status currently recognises English device-language values only. On Garmin devices set to another language, the field may display NO STATUS because Garmin provides the status to Connect IQ as translated text rather than a language-independent status code.
Support for additional languages is being investigated. As a temporary workaround, set the Garmin device language to English.

N13 Prime is a high-information watch face built around time, training status, recovery, battery life, and four configurable data fields.

The layout keeps important health and activity information organised in clearly separated sections, with large typography and balanced spacing for fast reading throughout the day.

## TIME AND DATE

The main display supports:

* 12-hour time with AM or PM
* 24-hour time with active seconds
* Day, date, and month
* Simplified sleep display when AOD Safety is enabled

Seconds are shown only while the display is active. Sleep mode keeps the layout cleaner and reduces unnecessary screen activity.

## TRAINING STATUS

The central section displays your current Training Status with a matching colour and position marker.

Supported states include:

* Peaking
* Productive
* Maintaining
* Recovery
* Strained
* Unproductive
* Detraining
* Overreaching
* No Status

Auto Colors can adjust the active palette according to the current Training Status.

When Auto Colors is disabled, the selected custom colour mode is used instead.

## RECOVERY TIME

Recovery Time is displayed directly below Training Status.

Depending on the available value, the watch face shows:

* Hours remaining
* Days and hours remaining
* Fully Recovered
* -- when data is unavailable

## CONFIGURABLE FIELDS

Four positions can be configured independently:

* Top Left
* Top Right
* Bottom Left
* Bottom Right

Each position supports the same data choices:

* Today Distance
* Weather
* Steps
* Heart Rate
* Weekly Distance
* Calories
* Body Battery
* Floors Climbed
* Intensity Minutes Today
* Intensity Minutes Week
* Stress
* Respiration
* Recovery Time
* Step Goal

Duplicate selections are allowed, so the same metric can be shown in more than one position.

## WEATHER

Weather fields display the current temperature using Celsius or Fahrenheit.

When Weather is selected in the Top Right position, precipitation chance is also shown when available.

Bottom weather fields show temperature only, keeping the lower section compact and easy to read.

## BATTERY

The battery section shows:

* Current battery percentage
* Estimated battery time remaining when available

The battery block is aligned with the two upper metric fields to keep the layout visually balanced.

## COLOR MODES

Choose from nine custom palettes:

* Champagne Gold
* Classic Ivory
* Urban Slate
* Ivory White
* Arctic Blue
* Antique Brass
* Navy Ice
* Meadow Lime
* Bright Gold

Auto Colors can also match the visual accent to the current Training Status.

## DISPLAY SETTINGS

Available settings include:

* 12-hour or 24-hour time
* Auto Colors on or off
* Custom colour mode
* Kilometres or miles
* Celsius or Fahrenheit
* Four configurable data fields
* AOD Safety on or off

## ALWAYS ON DISPLAY

When AOD Safety is enabled, sleep mode shows a reduced layout with:

* Time
* Date
* Small position shifts to reduce repeated use of the same pixels

When AOD Safety is disabled, the complete layout remains visible during sleep, with seconds hidden.

## EFFICIENT DATA REFRESH

Activity, battery, distance, and heart-rate data use controlled refresh intervals instead of being read continuously.

Weather and Body Battery update less frequently and only when those fields are selected.

Unavailable values are shown as -- rather than replaced with estimated or misleading data.
