Dynamic Cadence is a Garmin data field that dynamically calculates your ideal target cadence in real time while running. The myth of a single universal 180 spm cadence does not apply to everyone — optimizing your stride rate depends on your height and current running pace.

​Green: Optimal target zone (±5 spm from target).

​Red: Cadence is below target (overstriding / heavy landing impact).

​Purple: Cadence is above the target zone.

​Maximum readability: Large, clear numbers designed for instant legibility on any display size and screen layout (1 to 8 data fields).

​Setup:
