Name: Beacon - Droid Watch Face
Rating: 5 (1 reviews)
Author: SaulGoodman

Beacon puts a small buddy bot on your wrist, and it reports on your day. Raise your wrist and it walks in from the side.

The home page keeps it simple: the time and date, the weather, and four clear readings: heart rate, steps, energy (Body Battery) and watch battery. The bot sits beside them with a one-line status: "All systems go", "Rain likely", "Rest up", "Goal reached".

It reacts to the world around you. It carries an umbrella in the rain, wears a scarf in the cold and sunglasses in the heat, and sleeps in a nightcap at night. Its eye and the whole face take a color that follows the weather: cyan for clear, purple for rain, green for a storm, blue for cold, red for heat.

FIVE PAGES (an icon bar at the bottom shows where you are)
- Bot: time, date, weather, the bot and its message, four readings
- Body: heart rate, steps with your goal, Body Battery and watch battery, with bars
- Sky: temperature, condition, rain chance, wind, high and low, humidity, the next three hours, and a STORM warning
- Nav: a world map with a pulsing dot at your position, your coordinates, UTC offset and sun times
- Status: phone link, notifications, alarms, Do Not Disturb, and the time to the next sunrise or sunset

PRESS AND HOLD
- On an icon in the bottom bar: jump to that page
- On the time on the Bot page: change the color
- On a reading or the weather: open Garmin's own screen for it
- Anywhere else: next page. A page stays for 30 seconds after your last touch, then the face returns to the bot.

NIGHT MODE
After sunset, during your sleep window or with Do Not Disturb on, the face switches to red only and dims, so it is easy on the eyes.

NOTIFICATIONS
When notifications are waiting, a speech bubble with an exclamation mark appears by the bot. Hold the bot to open them.

ALIVE
The sleeping bot breathes and its Zs drift up one by one. It marches when you walk and runs when you run. The heart on the Body page beats at your pace, and the Sky page animates with the weather: twinkling sun, swaying clouds, falling rain and snow, a flashing storm bolt. The watch battery turns red when it runs low.

SETTINGS (in Garmin Connect)
Light color (follows the weather or a fixed color), temperature units and step goal.

COMPATIBILITY AND LANGUAGE
Garmin fenix 7 (47 mm) and fenix 8 Solar 47 mm. The face shows French when the watch is set to French, and English otherwise.

Beacon - Droid Watch Face

APPUI LONG
