Workout Step Counter is a lightweight Connect IQ data field that tracks steps within the current activity only. It follows your workout controls, so step counting pauses and resumes automatically when you pause/resume the activity.

Key features
	•	Counts steps for the current workout/activity session
	•	Automatically pauses/resumes with the activity
	•	Ideal for tracking steps on specific segments (intervals, parts of a route, etc.)

Notes
	•	Lap based step splits are not included in this version. If you’d like lap support, leave a comment or feature request and I’ll consider adding it in a future update.
