Refill POI Alert is a Garmin data field for Edge devices that reliably warns you about refill points along your active navigation. The field reads Garmin navigation data in real time and detects the next waypoint. If the waypoint name contains wasser or verpfl, it triggers a first alert at 400 m and a stronger second alert at 40 m. It also shows the distance to the next relevant point and uses red blinking visuals to indicate alert stages. If the next waypoint is not a refill point, the display shows a clear no-refill message. Perfect for long rides where hydration timing matters.

Refill POI Alert ist ein Garmin-Datenfeld für Edge-Geräte, das dich zuverlässig auf Trinkstellen entlang deiner Navigation hinweist. Das Feld liest die Garmin-Navigationsdaten in Echtzeit und erkennt den nächsten Wegpunkt. Enthält der Name dieses Wegpunkts wasser oder verpfl, wird bei 400 m eine Vorwarnung ausgelöst und bei 40 m eine zweite, stärkere Warnung. Zusätzlich zeigt das Datenfeld die Distanz zum nächsten relevanten Punkt an und markiert Warnstufen visuell durch rotes Blinken. Gibt es am nächsten Wegpunkt keine passende Trinkstelle, erscheint ein klarer Hinweis im Display. Ideal für lange Touren, bei denen Hydration und rechtzeitige Planung entscheidend sind.
